About Emily Lipinski
Dr. Emily Lipinski is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and is passionate about helping people heal naturally.
Emily strongly believes in addressing the root cause of a medical issue and using natural therapies either alone or in conjunction with conventional western medicine. Her passion for using both science and nature to address medical conditions starting from a young age.
Her father, a conventional dentist, helped to nurture her love for sciences and maths while her mother fed her green juices, brought her to naturopathic doctors, and taught her about the importance of organic foods.
After years of feeling unwell despite being on medication for her thyroid, Emily was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroid Disease, an autoimmune disorder. Using natural therapies and changes in diet and lifestyle she has dramatically improved her health and has effectively balanced her hormones.
Dr. Lipinski completed her undergraduate degree in biology and her thesis at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS. Her thesis propelled her to research spinal cord injuries at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. She then went on to complete her 4 years of Naturopathic Medical School at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON.
Emily has enjoyed helping people heal naturally clinically, but is passionate about reaching a larger audience by way of podcasts, radio shows, conferences, and various speaking engagements.
