About Elly Jenkyns
I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Brock University in 1997, combining a degree in Biology and Psychology. I then went on to complete the 4-year, full-time program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002. Im a licensed, regulated Naturopathic Doctor and a proud member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). In 2009 I completed post-graduate certification courses with the OAND in Environmental Medicine and Mind-Body Medicine.
My passion is empowering patients to take responsibility for their own health with a focus on education and prevention. I regularly attend continuing education and professional development workshops. Im committed to on-going research and learning in order to meet the variety of needs of all of my patients. I have unique expertise in Environmental Medicine and Detoxification, immune function, stress management and hormone balance. I have a special interest in using accredited medical labs to help my patients assess their toxicity, and medical detoxification protocols to help them reduce it.

As a mom, I have a special interest in healthy family dynamics. I know firsthand the challenges of achieving balance in the home, and its importance for our health and happiness.
