About Elisabeth Bastos
Elisabeth founded the Natural Care Family Clinic in 2005 where she still runs her private practice serving south western Ontario and surrounding region, and is president of Balance Tech Educational Institute which offers educational health reports and coaching as well as product development (including the BestLifePRO brand). She is author to a book set to be launched in 2015 regarding building client relationships for life and is developing her ultra simplified food intolerance free recipe book for the busy family.
Since 2008 she has been awarded yearly for awards including Best Naturopathic Clinic, Best Naturopathic Doctor, Best Acupuncturist and Best Online Shopping Category in the Cambridge Times Reader's choice awards.
Natural Care Family Clinic is in it's final location...Elisabeth's dream... which is in the peaceful rural countryside of Puslinch, but yet a few minutes from the 401 and main Guelph and Cambridge roads. The setting provides a peaceful view and walk to the private clinic entrance out back that virtually starts the healing process on arrival. Care has been taken to protect the premises from EMFs (electromagnetic fields) with top technology. There is also a UV air sanitation unit/filter on the building to protect you from air borne illness and toxins. Your health is the doctor's top concern !
Elisabeth is a mother of 2 young children and has extra training in health care for infants/children, pregnant woman and womaen and men with fertility concerns and electroacupuncture for pain. Treatment for most other general health concerns is also available for the family (see below).
Dr. Bastos has a Baccalaureate in BioMedical Science from Guelph University (a pre-medical school program) and graduated from the 4 year Naturopathic Medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto) in 2005. She holds a license as a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist and upkeeps yearly continuing education.
In addition, she has undergone extra training in Homeopathic Medicine, including training with world renowned Dr. Sankaran, and his Homeopathic Research and Charities group in India, and Dr. Ullman. She has also trained with Dr. Letitia Dick and Dr. Zeff in the Carroll Method of Food Intolerance Assessment and it's Coaching and on grass roots Naturopathy, in Spokane, Washington. She is trained by world nenowned Debra Betts in pregnancy acupuncture and has training in Live and Dry Blood Cell Nutritional Analysis.
She is a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians .
In addition, Elisabeth has lectured to health care professionals at the Perinatal Association of NDs conference, on topics of breastfeeding and baby care, has been interviewed as an expert contributor for the October 2011 Chatelaine article on Alternative Fertility Treatments and has appeared on the experts live show on the topic of Omega 3 Fats.
