About Elias Markou
Dr. Elias Markou, ND is the Clinic Director of pureBalance Wellness. A former firefighter, Dr. Markou ND has graduated from the Canadian College of Natural Medicine (CCNM), completed a diploma in Registered Holistic Nutrition (R.H.N.) and is a Registered Acupuncturist (R. Ac.) in Ontario.
Dr. Markou ND’s extensive 17 years of experience well-versed in nutrition and vitamin therapies. As well, he holds certifications in intravenous therapy, and has advanced training in cancer support and functional medicine.
Dr. Elias Markou, ND is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors(OAND); the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and is registered with the College Of Naturopathy in Ontario.
Dr. Elias Markou, ND is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and holds a number of positions, including past Chair of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), as well as current Chief Naturopathic Medical Officer for the Halton Hills Fire Department and National Advisory Board Chair for Cyto-Matrix Inc., a nutraceutical manufacturer.
He is also a motivational speaker who is regularly featured on television, in print and radio. Dr. Markou, ND combines his enthusiasm for life and his knowledge of health and wellness to motivate people back to health.
