Dr. Draper is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and a member of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She was born and raised in Castlegar BC and has returned to her hometown of Castlegar BC to run her third Naturopathic practice.
As a licensed primary care provider, Dr. Draper uses natural therapies that work with your body's innate healing abilities to promote optimal, sustainable health by addressing all areas of the self: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Her goals as a Naturopathic Doctor are to be a facilitator for anyone who wishes to reach their highest potential in life, to empower patients and the community to take responsibility for their health, and to be a health educator and advocate.
Areas of special interest are stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain management, digestive complaints, hormone regulation, and inflammatory conditions.
Areas of additional training that Dr. Draper has completed include IV therapy and prolotherapy.
Prior to graduating at CCNM, Dr. Draper obtained an undergraduate degree in Professional Writing at the University of Victoria and has spent 16 months travelling Southeast Asia, Australia and India. In addition to running a private practice she has been involved with Hope Health College in Drumheller and Mount Royal University in Calgary designing health programs and course curriculum.
