About Debbie Smrz
After graduating from Guelph University (1998) with an honours degree in Genetics and Molecular biology, Debbie spent four years working and travelling the world before returning to Markham Ontario to complete graduate studies in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine (graduating class of 2007).
Debbie is passionate about finding the best medical solutions for her patients. Her goal is to combine her motivational and lifestyle counselling skills to guide and facilitate change, along with the science of naturopathic medicine to restore and maintain optimal health. With two children of her own, Debbie has a special interest in children’s and women’s health, anti-aging medicine, anxiety, depression, weight loss and pain management.
She is a certified hypnotherapist, has travelled to Europe to undertake further training in biological medicine and is trained in Darkfield Microscopy and terrain analysis. She has first hand experience dealing the PANDAS (pediatric Autoimmune Neuro-psychiatric Disorder associated with Streptococcal Infection) and has many children with anxiety and other mental health issues in her practice.
She is an energetic and compelling speaker, often being requested at corporate events and National Conferences. She holds numerous fitness certifications, is certified in IV therapy and facial rejuvenation therapy, and is passionate about changing her patients lives from both the inside and out.
