About Dara Morden
Dr. Dara Morden, ND has been asking similar questions with her patients in her naturopathic medicine practice for nearly ten years. Dr. Morden understands there is an intrinsic link between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, and her practice is whole-patient centred. She strives to address and treat the root cause, no matter the complexity. Her busy practice offers her the opportunity to treat many common health concerns in pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
Dr. Morden, ND graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a double-major in Biochemistry and Biology. Her love of medicine was nurtured early in her academic career by having the opportunity to work concurrently for several summers at the NRC Institute for Biodiagnostics in function magnetic resonance imaging. She then studied at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) designation. This degree helped to create a balanced synergy between the practices of modern medicine and traditional natural medicine; both of which hold importance in her larger view of healing.
Dr. Morden, ND is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine and the Manitoba Naturopathic Association. She maintains an active practice here at Via Natural Medicine and is busy in the community providing frequent health talks as well as educational workshops for both the public as well as professionals. She lives in Winnipeg with her husband and when she is not at the clinic, you can find her busy at the cottage or working on her home and yard.
Dr. Dara Morden, ND is absolutely passionate about supporting patients to dig deeper, to ask the deeper questions – at whatever stage they may be – to help them best achieve their capacity for optimal health.
