About Dana Tishenko
Dr. Dana Tishenko, ND was drawn to the study of naturopathic medicine because it offered a balance between modern western science while maintaing a respect for the body’s innate power to heal. After earning a Bachelor of Science, Dr. Tishenko went on to study medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver.
She believes strongly in working with the patient to discover the ‘root’ cause of illness and developing treatment plans that meet the individual needs of her patients. As a naturopathic physician Dr. Tishenko is trained in Acupuncture, Clinical nutrition, Herbal Medicine, and Laboratory testing. She has special interest in women’s health, fertility, mental/emotional well being and digestive disorders.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tishenko has a passion for healthy cooking. She lives an active lifestyle with hiking, camping, exploring, and most importantly chasing after her two little girls.
Dr. Tishenko has her Prescription Authority and is trained to work with you and your health team to monitor, adjust, and prescribe prescriptive medications if deemed necessary.
