About Dana Revai
Growing up, nutrition and health have always been a passion for me. I always knew I wanted to help people stay positive and enjoy life. While at university, I enrolled in a Mind, Body and Science course which introduced me to Naturopathic Medicine, a profession that tied together all of my interests and passions. After my final year of university, my life long journey into the realm of Naturopathic Medicine began.
Naturopathic Medicine is a holistic treatment providing solutions at the root of the problem for improved health. Health does not manifest solely on a physical level, but mental and emotional well-being are also strongly connected to one's vitality. I address all of these dimensions; physical/mental/emotional, while providing Naturopathic Healthcare to my patients. In addition, I focus on treating each patient as an individual and develop specific preventative care programs for each patient in order to maintain long-term health for the future.
My practice is family oriented. This provides each member of the family a chance and place to voice his/her health concerns individually in order to take steps towards a better self. My experience includes treating patients of all ages and with various conditions, ranging from: cardiovascular, digestive, fertility, thyroid, weight, dermatological, stress, anxiety, depression, migraines, pain, menstrual, immunity and more. My treatment options include Lifestyle Counselling, Nutritional Counselling/Supplementation, Botanical Therapies, Homeopathic Remedies, Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture, and Hydrotherapy.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours from McMaster University. I earned my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I am an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. I am licensed by the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy. I am also certified in Level 1 Reiki and Applied Kinesiology.
Outside of practice, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Steven and Izzy, cooking various types of cuisine for family and friends, baking, exercising, and travelling with my husband whenever we have the opportunity.
