About Dana Marshall
Dana Marshall graduated with Distinction from the University of Western Ontario, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Health Science. She went on to complete the 4-year, post graduate Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). In her third year of study, she completed an elective medical rotation in Nicaragua with Naturopathic Doctors International (NDI). This was a truly humbling experience and turning point in Danas life which gave her a new perspective and tremendous appreciation of life.
Dana is a passionate and enthusiastic person who is excited to educate the people within her community on ways to better their health using Naturopathic medicine. She strongly believes in the inherent ability of the body to heal thyself and creating a good foundation of health through diet and lifestyle modifications as a means of preventing illness.
Dana has a general family practice and especially enjoys working with women and children through the different stages of life. After the birth of her son Colby, she has become particularly fascinated with the simplicity of natural remedies in treating young children. She also has a special interest in chronic pain and inflammatory conditions, weight management and digestive disorders . Dana is also a certified practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and is licensed in Parenteral Therapy.
