About Crista Macdonald-Werby
Dr. Crista MacDonald-Werby, BHSc., ND, was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario. She earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at the University of Western Ontario and then went on to complete a four-year, professional program in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. This included a one year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, as well as an internship at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. Upon graduation Crista passed all the required examinations to be authorized to practice in Ontario. She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and has passed the Therapeutic Prescribing exam. Dr. Crista MacDonald-Werby, ND is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and a registrant of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
Crista enjoys being involved in the community and doing volunteer work. Her efforts include running a workshop in the Dominican Republic where she taught women, men and children who were HIV-positive how to improve their health using diet, local plants, exercise and lifestyle. She also has enjoyed teaching at Fanshawe College, speaking at various events across Oxford County and leading corporate wellness workshops and programs at industries across Ontario.
In 2006, Dr. MacDonald-Werby, ND created and opened the MacDonald Naturopathic Medical Clinic (now MacDonald Naturopathic & Counselling). When not working, she enjoys her country property and gardens with her two children and husband and trekking around the rocks of Canada.
