About Corman Iuliana
My name is Iuliana with a silent i, pronounced you-lee-anna. I’m currently in school to become a doctor of naturopathic medicine (ND), am a food fanatic, dog whisperer, late night movie addict, outdoor explorer and wannabe photographer.
I come to the field of naturopathic medicine with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. I spent a short, but influential time volunteering at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and was a mentor for inner-city youth, both of which have inspired me to work in a field where I will get to make valuable relationships and provide healthcare.
During my first year at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) I was elected as the class of 2016 academic representative. In this role, I provided guidance to CCNM on various student concerns regarding the direction of the academic curriculum. Currently, I am in my second year of study at CCNM and am working on a new project to help motivate and inspire naturopathic medicine students and naturopathic doctors to view ourselves not only as health care providers but entrepreneurs. Along side my husband, who has extensive experience in the field of startups and business development, we are building the Naturopathic Genome Project so that everyone in the naturopathic medicine field can work together to grow our profession.
