About Clare Craig
Dr. Clare Craig is a registered, licensed Naturopathic Physician. She trained at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, graduating in 2006. Before training as a Naturopathic Doctor, Clare earned an Honours BA in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Guelph, then worked with community organizations, women’s groups and youth programs. She traveled and worked in Africa and Central America, practicing French and Spanish, and bringing unique learning experiences, which continue to inform her approach to living.
Clare has a strong desire to help patients connect to the healing properties of nature and their own bodies, to assist them in finding balance and achieving health and well-being. She enjoys a broad practice emphasizing family medicine including women’s health, pediatric care, fertility promotion and peri-natal care, stress syndromes (such as fatigue and insomnia), immune dysfunction, digestive issues, athletic performance, injury recovery and pain complexes. Clare is an eclectic practitioner and accesses a wide range of modalities to best suit the individual needs of her patients.
Clare is a DONA Certified Doula, a member of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors, and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is also a member of CAPE, the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment. She has additional training in Bowen Therapy, Homeopathy, Medical Herbalism, and Mind-Body Medicine. She is certified in BC to perform Acupuncture, and is licensed to prescribe.
An Ontario native, Clare is happy to call the beautiful west coast her home. Any chance she gets she is out enjoying it, whether hiking, biking, trail running, swimming, paddling.
