Naturopathic medicine is her passion and her special interests include Mind/Body medicine, Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, Counseling and Botanical Medicine.
As a dedicated naturopath, she focuses on treating patients using a system of medicine which is based on the nature's healing power. She identifies, diagnoses, and treats patients for their specific conditions and illnesses, similar to that of a contemporary medical doctor, but using the bountiful gifts of found in nature.
The aim of naturopathic medicine is to provide treatment to the person as a whole. This involves aspects of the mind, body, and spirit, aiming to heal the root causes of the problem, and not just stopping the symptoms. With the help of a naturopath, you can discuss your personal health plan, as this procedure focuses on prevention and education. You may be given tips on stress management, exercise or diet. Complementary medicine may also be implemented on top of the naturopathic treatments available.
