About Christa Reed-Kruger
Christa completed her medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with clinical internships at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Parkdale Community Health Centre. Prior to that, she earned an Arts and Science degree in Biomedical Science and Developmental Psychology at the University of Guelph. In 2013 Christa founded the Orangeville Naturopathic Health Clinic, a multidisciplinary professional health clinic. Christa is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine. Christa has always been passionate about health and learning. She regularly continues her education to expand her knowledge and training, allowing her to better serve her patients.
Increasingly Canadians are expressing a desire for complimentary and alternative health care options. Christa strongly believes in the power of preventative medicine, where a healthy lifestyle can delay or halt the onset and progression of many chronic diseases. She understands that many people have experienced frustration with their health and therefore empowers patients to be a vital participant in their own medical team. Christa is excited to be a part of that team and enjoys helping people on their path to wellness.
As a long-time resident of the Orangeville area, Christa is proud to be a member of the local community and thinks it is a terrific place to raise her family. Having two young sons has given Christa the experience and understanding that is invaluable to a family-centred medical practice. Much of her spare-time is spent at the playground or arena with her children, but Christa also recognizes the importance of a balanced life and makes time to read and watch movies whenever possible.
