About Chihiro Ishii
Dr.Chihiro Ishii graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she built her professional skills of primary care and naturopathic medicine. She joined Wei’s Natural Health Clinic to provide health care services to the community in 2014. She believes that wellness is the source to achieve life goal.
Through her entire life and former career as a researcher in the food industry, Dr Chihiro Ishii realized the importance of focusing on the innate healing power of the body to restore wellness, of treating the cause of health issues rather than just symptomatic control, and of disease prevention to ensure the heath for one’s better life. Her emphasis is the best blend of philosophy of traditional natural medicine and the evidence-based approach in her patient treatment.
As a professional clinician, Dr. Chihiro Ishii considers not only patients health issues but also their goal and needs as well as their preferences in treatment options.
She combines a variety of natural modalities in her treatments including: dietary modification, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, acupuncture, botanical medicine (western and Chinese), hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and life style counseling. She had training of Japanese acupuncture (Kiiko style acupuncture) as well and does extensive apprenticeship with Tak Tsurusaki, RAc, She also provides nutritional Intravenous (IV) therapy, which is useful for a wide range of conditions as well as health promotion.
With her belief and interest in therapeutic effect of diet, she incorporates Asian dietary therapy into her treatment strategy.
