About Caitlin Kolbuc
Dr. Caitlin Kolbuc has always had a keen interest in the human mind. She studied psychology at the University of Guelph before embarking on her four-year study of Naturopathic Medicine. She sees how important mental and emotional health are, and even with perfect physical health, without the other two, health cannot be enjoyed. We are a product of our lives and in hopes of optimizing each day and the time we are given, importance should be placed on the whole person. This equates to, their: environment, relationships, support network, sense of self, work in the world, sense of contribution, financial health, the food they consume, commitment to themselves and their sense of safety and being cared for. Health should be simple, yet it truly is complex. It all starts with the commitment to oneself and making choices that promote love in life and vitality. We all have different backgrounds and experiences and cannot always control what happens in our lives, but we can respond with the knowledge that we are worth all the goodness life has to offer, and that we matter. From this place we can choose, day by day, what we surround ourselves with, what we take into our bodies and the thoughts we choose to believe.
Dr. Kolbuc utilizes: acupuncture, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine and Bowen therapy to support and optimize digestive health, thyroid and adrenal health and energy production, chronic pain and to generally support the stress response in the body.
Naturopathic medicine seeks to find the root cause of dis-ease in the body, remove obstacles to cure whilst supporting the body's natural healing mechanisms using gentle methods. Dr. Kolbuc is here to support you on your healing journey while you make the changes that support your life.
