About Brie Crerar
Life can be so much better once we have our health working for us, not against us! My ultimate goal is to provide you with the tools you need to feel better, because your health should not be a barrier to living your best life. My own struggles with my hormones and digestive system, are what sparked my passion of working with women who are tired of being tired, have hormone and/or digestive issues. I know what it feels like to be told “everything is normal” while deep down knowing things are not. I’m passionate about working with people to determine and address the underlying cause of their symptoms. Sometimes all it takes is a deeper dive and a more personalized approach.
I have had the unique opportunity to practice in both private clinics and a hospital setting where I’ve worked with hundreds of women with hormonal concerns, digestive issues and unexplained fatigue. The majority of my practice includes polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, period concerns, unexplained infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, acne, weight loss resistance, vaginal complaints, menopause, IBS, SIBO, inflammatory bowel diseases and food sensitivities. Through my clinical experience, I have observed that hormonal concerns are frequently accompanied by digestive issues which has led me to focus extensively on both. During my clinical internship I was selected among my peers to work on an exclusive fertility and reproductive health focus shift receiving extensive training in preconception care, pregnancy support and women’s health concerns. I’ve successfully supported countless couples trying to conceive naturally, as well as those working with fertility clinics undergoing assisted reproductive care (including IUI and IVF).
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto with a double major in Health Sciences and French, followed by a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. To provide the best care, I continue to invest many hours in education, stay up-to-date on the latest research, and work with a variety of other healthcare providers.
