About Brenda Nemeth
My interest in Naturopathic Medicine began at a very young age of only 9 years. My mother took me to a Naturopath and after that initial visit, I was amazed by the new way of thinking. We finally had some answers to the cause of what was going on with my health. After only a few visits, I knew we had moved in the right direction. From that point on, I was determined to become a Naturopathic Doctor. After high school, I got my diploma in Pre Med at Red Deer College and started my Biological Sciences degree at the University of Calgary. I was so eager to pursue my dream, that I was admitted to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine after only 3 years of undergraduate. During this time, I got my first experience with seeing the success of natural medicine. I did a 12-month internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, which allowed me to affirm that this was what I wanted to do. With the demanding schedule of learning all forms of medicine, I had finally accomplished my goal. In late 2004, I passed all the required board exams and was ready to share my knowledge. I am a registered member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta.
In July 2005, I started the Red Deer Wellness Clinic. I wanted a clinic that was multi-disciplinary so that all levels of disease could be treated. Naturopathic medicine focuses on the individual person, encompassing mental, emotional, and physical disorders. I love my role of being a health facilitator, to help people achieve optimal health. I plan on doing this work for many years to come and I always welcome new clients.
I am continually researching and investigating new ways to help people achieve wellness. I believe that the body can heal itself, given the right tools and direction. I have made it my life passion to help guide you along this path. I am also very grateful for the dedicated Naturopathic doctors, therapists, and support staff that allow this clinic to provide these services for you.
