About Barbara Dao
Dr. Barbara Dao, N.D. is a Naturopathic Doctor licensed by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She received her training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, completing the four-year intensive program. Prior to that, Dr. Barb obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Medical Sciences from the University of Guelph.
In 2006, she started her practice in Cambridge, Ontario and enjoys promoting natural medicine in helping her patients achieve better health. Dr. Barb is an active member of the provincial and national Naturopathic Associations.
Dr. Barb is certified in First Line Therapy, a lifestyle based program that treats the causes of chronic disease and helps patients to achieve optimal body weight. A firm believer in life-long learning, Dr. Barb has received advanced training in topics such as fertility, detoxification, menopause, women's health, depression, integrative cancer care and acupuncture to name a few. As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Barb’s treatment approach is a holistic one, where each patient is regarded as a whole – mind, body and spirit. Each patient receives individualized care using a combination of natural therapies.
Dr. Barb is also fluent in French.
