About Ashley Kowalski
Ashley Kowalski is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor helping people achieve happy, healthy digestion in Ontario. She also practices physically out of clinics located in Embrun/Russell, Ottawa, and Cornwall. Ashley is a member in good standing with both the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Ashley graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2014 and sought additional training to become Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture certified. Ashley has training in the use of several different natural therapies and modalities, including: dietary and lifestyle counseling, nutrition, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, and botanical medicine.
Prior to attending CCNM, Ashley graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2010. She graduated with Honours and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She also graduated with a minor in Biology.
Ashley completed her internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto, ON. During her internship she had the opportunity to help patients at both the Queen West and Sherbourne Community Health Centres. Mental health was addressed and counseling often provided to patients at the Queen West Community Health Centre during her four month placement. Meanwhile, Ashley helped manage common concerns among the HIV population during her four month placement at the Sherbourne Health Centre.
Ashley has worked in many different departments at CCNM during her fourth year internship. Her experience and skills range from grading student papers/assignments, interviewing prospective students, and helping keep the profession connected through direct contact with alumni.
