About Anna Kearns
Dr. Anna Kearns has a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine, and uses this in combination with her medical training to create individualized treatment plans for her patients. Upon completion of her honors degree in microbiology and immunology from Dalhousie University, Dr. Kearns obtained her doctorate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario.
Dr. Kearns has a clinical focus in women's health, pediatric medicine, mental health, thyroid conditions, and weight loss. She has been trained by world-renowned expert on bio-identical hormone therapies, Dr. Jonathan Wright. Dr. Kearns is an affiliate of the International Hormone Society and the World Society of Interdisciplinary Anti-Aging Medicine.
Board Certified naturopathic doctor in good standing with the provincial regulating body (CNPBC), the national regulating body (CAND), with a license to practice acupuncture and IV vitamin therapy in BC, and a Certified Prolotherapist, Dr. Kearns is passionate about Integrative Medicine. She believes strongly that integrative medicine represents the future of medical treatments.
Dr. Kearns is an avid runner, recently completing the Toronto Marathon, and cello player; her current challenge is mastering the Gigue from the six Bach suites for cello. In addition to her extracurricular activities, Dr. Kearns' passion for women's health permeates her spare time as a volunteer at the DEWC (Downtown East-side Women's Center), where she educated, motivated, and inspires women to create positive change in their lives using acupuncture and naturopathic medicine.
