About Andrea Hilborn
Dr. Andrea Hilborn is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor serving the area from Toronto to Ottawa. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she gained her four year post-graduate Doctor of Naturopathy Degree (ND), and completed a 12-month clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. She is registered by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and has gained prescription rights by passing the College’s Prescribing and Therapeutics examination.
Dr. Andrea has a passion for writing and wrote a column for the Kingston-Whig Standing from 2012-2015. She has also written for the national magazine Alive.
Through further training and personal interest, Dr. Andrea has developed her approach to the treatment of conditions that are important to women: infertility, hormone imbalance, menopause, anxiety and depression. She went to New York City to preceptor with Dr. Erika Schwartz, pioneer of the use of bio-identical hormones and authour of many books on the subject.
