I find it very rewarding to work with people so that they can be at their best. I am down-to-earth in my approach to client care.
My goal is to find and treat root cause. Root cause can range from unidentified food intolerances, hormonal imbalances, heavy metal toxicity, nutritional deficiencies, and chronic infections, among others. Most of my clients end up in my office because of chronic health conditions that have persisted for years.
I have a general family practice, but my areas of specialty include: fertility, pregnancy, athletic performance, gastro-intestinal disorders, autoimmune disorders, and endocrine disorders. I am also licensed to prescribe (most) bioidentical hormones. Brain health and the gut-brain axis is a newer area of interest of mine.
I also treat babies and kids. Common conditions I see in kids include ear infections, cold/flu support, skin conditions, and digestion/food intolerances.
My practice is unique because I’m one of a handful of NDs in the Ottawa area that is licensed to use vitamin/mineral intravenous (IV) therapy. IV therapy can be used for a wide range of health conditions. I commonly use it in treatment of chronic infections, low energy/adrenal fatigue, detox protocols, skin conditions, athletic endurance/recovery time, and cold/flu support. The basic IV formula I use is called a Myer’s cocktail. I then customize this cocktail to suit the client’s individual needs.
