About Alyson Munkley
Alyson Munkley is a board certified naturopathic doctor. After graduating with an honours degree in Psychology and Health Studies from Queen's University, she pursued medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, achieving the designation of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) in 2004.
The fundamental goal in Alyson's practice is to help patients achieve their health goals by treating the underlying cause of illness and removing obstacles to healing. A comprehensive intake and relevant lab testing are used to allow patients the best possible evidence-based holistic care to facilitate the healing process. Alyson has a special interest in women's health, digestive disorders, allergies, immune support, and anxiety, and has completed numerous continuing education courses to expand her practice.
Alyson frequently provides educational seminars for both corporate and public groups, and has also been a contributor for publications including Glow, New Outlook, Now magazine, The Town of the Blue Mountains Courier Herald, the Meaford Express, and Our Neighbourhood.
Alyson is a compassionate practitioner who works with clients of all ages and a wide variety of health conditions. She is committed to achieving the best results for her patients, and has found that the most profound and effective healing occurs through the use of safe and natural therapies. Alyson is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
