About Allison Ronda
Dr. Allison’s goal is to compassionately guide a client to achieve optimal health. She believes in patient centered medicine and the connection between body and mind in creating self-awareness. Environment and lifestyle, including what we eat, what we do, what we think, even what we believe, can alter what genes are expressed and how healthy an individual is.
Dr. Allison has a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Diploma in Herbalism. She then followed her love of holistic healing by obtaining her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto which is an intensive four year program including a one year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Parkdale Community Health Centre. She also had the opportunity to experience a clinical internship in Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International. Dr. Allison has further certification in Acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology, Intravenous Therapy, and Chelation Therapy. As well, she continues to research and train in the areas of Clinical genetics (genetic pathway defects) and Lyme disease.
Dr. Allison is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA), the American College of Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), and the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS). Dr. Allison is registered and licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor in Alberta, Canada. She began her own practice in 2012.
