About Allison Freeman
Dr. Freeman is a registered naturopathic doctor with over a decade of clinical experience. She supports patients with a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She has run an independent family practice for 10 years and has also worked in multidisciplinary settings at the MedCan Clinic and a Smoking Cessation Clinic. She has completed the Pharmaceutical Prescribing Exam for bio-identical hormones, and training to provide intravenous (IV) infusion therapy. As well, Dr. Freeman maintains the traditional art of custom botanical prescribing of tinctures and dried formulas.
As a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Freeman aims to acknowledge various facets of each person’s wellbeing, including one’s life experience, biochemistry, and genetic profile, environmental exposures, habitual patterns, and mindset. She recognizes that each aspect can play a role in the unique constellation of our health and sense of wellbeing, and strives to empower her patients to make valuable mind-body connections.
