About Alexis Cole
My journey started at a young age. I was a little girl growing up on a farm. More specifically, a medicinal herb farm, where my love for plants truly flourished.
I knew from an early age that I wanted to help people in a health care setting. I initially
thought I wanted to be a medical doctor. However, my father opened my eyes to the world of Naturopathic Medicine, and I knew that this was the path for me.
I suffered from insomnia, acne, irregular cycles, and anxiety during my adolescent years. A significant turning point in my life occurred when I altered my diet and lifestyle. After I made the necessary adjustments, I began sleeping again, my anxiety went away, and my skin slowly began to heal.
My journey to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor continued post-secondary at the University of Guelph, followed by the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, which has brought me to where I am today.
