About Alex Chan
Dr. Alex Chan is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She helped initiate the first-certified Naturopathic Residency Program in British Columbia. She completed a two-year residency at Integrative before joining the clinic in full-time private practice.
Dr. Chan received her Bachelors of Science in Cell Biology and Genetics at the University of British Columbia, and is a graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Chan recognized a need for integrative healthcare for complex chronic illness such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes, cancer and Lyme disease. These conditions often require a functional medicine approach that involves both conventional therapies and naturopathic perspectives.
She has dedicated herself to specific training in the field of Oncology and has extensive knowledge of intravenous therapies and Insulin Potentiation Therapy.
Each patient receives a unique treatment protocol that is personally tailored and addresses both their disease and the whole person. Dr. Chan has received additional training in advanced intravenous nutrition, neural prolotherapy, insulin potentiation therapy, applied kinesiology and manipulative techniques.
