About Aleksandra Guzek
Dr. Aleksandra Guzek is a naturopathic doctor who is registered in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She received her naturopathic degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Aleks ND is passionate about teaching and ensuring that her patients are informed, educated, and feeling empowered about their health and treatment options. She creates a safe, nurturing space for healing and growth for the people she serves and is deeply committed to honouring naturopathic principles, such as addressing the root cause of illness, preventative care, and treating the whole person.
As part of her clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto, Dr. Aleks worked with young people and their families on a Pediatric Focus Shift and helped to establish a new satellite shift at Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities. While her clinical experience is eclectic, treating individuals with a wide range of presentations and incorporating all naturopathic modalities, Dr. Aleks ND especially loves to discuss nutrition with her patients and has a special interest in metabolic and autoimmune conditions.
Dr. Aleks also has over 15 years of experience as a mental health professional and holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the University of Guelph, with a major in Psychology. Her background in supporting individuals and families with a wide range of mental health concerns, particularly through crisis intervention/prevention, lends a unique depth of expertise to her practice.
Dr. Aleks embraces the healing power of nature and when she is not practicing, she loves to spend time outdoors. She is an avid backcountry camper, loves paddling (especially canoes) and enjoys skiing.
