About Alan Vu
Alan Vu is a licensed naturopathic doctor and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. After a Bachelor of Science (honours) at U of T and four years at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Alan was accepted into and graduated from an additional 2 year CCNM Clinical Residency Program. He is currently part-time academic and clinical faculty at CCNM.
Alan believes strongly in empowering patients through health education. He believes in patient-centered care that is individualized. He enjoys working with families to help them achieve their optimum level of health. He believes that with a focus on nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction one can move towards optimal health in a sustainable manner with long-term benefits. He enjoys using acupuncture, physical medicines and botanical medicines in his practice and has seen great benefit with these therapies. Alan enjoys working with patients to achieve their health goals by integrating healthy practices into daily life. He has had additional training in managing anxiety, and general mens health concerns.
