About Adriana Restagno
Dr. Adriana Restagno is a licensed and registered naturopathic doctor. Her vision is to facilitate the journey towards health for her patients and their families using safe and gentle naturopathic medical care that is comprehensive, holistic and individualized. This passion for medicine and helping others began at a young age and has remained deeply ingrained in her sense of being.
Dr. Restagno's clinical focus is on family medicine, including pediatric care and women and men's health issues.
She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Canada's largest accredited naturopathic institution. During her medical program, Dr. Restagno completed a clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC) and the Lakeshore Area Multidisciplinary Project (LAMP), a community health centre in Etobicoke, where she worked closely with patients to facilitate health and wellness. She has a passion and love for working with children, and served on the specialized clinical Pediatric shift during her internship at the RSNC.
Dr. Restagno obtained her honours summa cum laude Bachelor of Science (Hon. BSc) degree in Human Behavioural Biology at the University of Toronto. Prior to commencing her medical studies at CCNM, Dr. Restagno gained valuable research experience in traumatic brain injury and dementia at the Rotman Research Institute, working with known leader in the neuropsychology field, senior scientist, Dr. Brian Levine PhD.
Dr. Restagno maintains a passion for naturopathic education and inspiring healthy choices. She has contributed articles to Alive magazine and has participated in educational presentations at the Jean Tweed Centre in Toronto.
In addition to practicing Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Restagno is a member of the scientific advisory board at CanPrev Natural Health Products in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Dr. Restagno is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and is registered with the Ontario Naturopathic regulatory board, the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy Naturopathy (BDDT-N).
